The Oklahoma City Thunder are traveling to Salt Lake City in order to face the Utah Jazz on Tuesday. The Thunder have lost their last six games and are 1-9 in their last ten games. They will be looking to snap that streak against the Jazz on Tuesday night.
Last game against the 76ers, Darius Bazley and Luguentz Dort made their return to action. Both were impressive scoring 17 and 15 points respectively. Bazley displayed excellent shot-making ability, an area of his game that has been inconsistent, yet promising throughout his career. He finished with nine rebounds and five assists as well. Dort was impressive on both ends of the floor per usual and finished the game with 5 rebounds. Tony Bradley also made a big impact on the game scoring 16 points, grabbing 14 rebounds, and blocking three shots.
The Jazz enters this game on the back end of a back-to-back after falling to the Washington Wizards on Monday. Donovan Mitchell had 42 points in that matchup and Bojan Bogdanovic had 33. Rudy Gobert also had a solid performance with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
The Thunder lead the all time series against the Jazz 112-80, but the Jazz lead the season series 1-0.
The Jazz are heavily favored to win the matchup (-17.5), but the Thunder have shown the ability to beat stronger teams all season. In order for the Thunder to win the matchup, they will need to rebound the ball well. The Jazz rank first in the NBA in rebounds per game so the Thunder will need to be physical against the Jazz big men in order to win the matchup.
The Thunder will be without multiple players tonight. Their injuries include Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Foot) OUT, Gabriel Deck (not with the team) OUT, Aleksej Pokusevski (right arm soreness) OUT, Isaiah Roby (concussion) OUT, Josh Hall (concussion) OUT, Mike Muscala (ankle) OUT.
The matchup is set to take place at 8 PM CT on Bally Sports Oklahoma.
